Session Info
Frequently Asked Questions
So what is included in a session?
Each session may look a little different depending on the type of session, the length of time booked and the season. Normally, a session consists of an hour or two hours of photography. Mini-sessions are usually booked for up to 30 minutes of time (and are great for families with littles!). The session fee covers that time period and any editing. After the session, your photos will be uploaded to a password-protected online gallery where the photos are available to view. You can order and/or download prints from that site at an additional cost.
What packages or prints come with my session?
I do not include any prints, digital files or downloads in my session costs. Those are all available for an additional fee.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes! A lot of my clients opt to order the digital prints/files of their session. I can set your online gallery up to allow for digital downloads at anytime. The decision to purchase the digital files do not have to be made during your session. I do retain the files for a minimum of 24 months so you can always check with me about purchasing those if you decide you do want them.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! I do offer high quality prints in various sizes as well as canvases, metal prints, wood prints, cards, etc... If you have an item in mind, let me know and I can see if we can find it!
Do you do indoor photos?
I love to shoot outside whenever possible. The natural light and scenery is more fitting with my style of photography BUT I do shoot indoors when and if requested. I do not have my own studio space, however, so if you do want an indoor shoot, locations may be up to you to find and/or provide (although I am happy to help!).
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
I live in Missouri... which means the weather changes at least 3 times in a week, sometimes in a day!! If the day of your shoot rolls around and the weather is going to be an issue, I do ask that we reschedule. However, if it is something we can work around or if the shoot is time sensitive, we can always try! I do watch the weather closely and will contact you prior to your shoot to discuss any issues that may arise in bad weather situations.
